Chased is an introductory adventure and companion to the Distemper QuickStart Guide and is intended to get a Game Moderator and group of 2-5 players into a game as quickly as possible.

Set just a few months after the cataclysmic Dog Flu pandemic that wiped out 90% of humanity, players in Distemper take on the roles of real people grappling with the harsh realities of a world where the old rules no longer apply. With 7 billion people dead, survival becomes the sole focus, and players must make tough ethical choices that could have long-term consequences.

All the old rules are gone, and players will find themselves faced with ethical choices that may impact long-term gameplay as they navigate this dangerous world and ask themselves what they are prepared to do to survive.

Chased opens with a group of characters making their way through the Delaware forest in search of food. Suddenly, they encounter a woman bound and gagged, fleeing from an unknown danger. The players will have to make a snap decision, and their choice sets in motion an escalating cycle of violence that will test their survival skills to the limit.

This book provides a location, pregenerated characters to choose from, and a gruesome story for players to experience in this survival/horror sandbox game. It also serves as a mini-campaign sourcebook, featuring multiple locations within the same region, 19 fully statted NPCs for players to interact with, plot hooks for future games, 5 pregenerated characters for instant gameplay, and VTT assets.

Note: Although Chased walks a GM through many of the rules as they arise, we highly recommend downloading a copy of the Distemper Quickstart for a seamless gameplay experience.
